This week we will continue our literature circles with Titanic Young Survivors. We will be reading A LOT this week with a goal of finishing the novel next week. Anything that you do not finish reading in class will be homework. Please make sure you keep up with the reading!

For the next few weeks, they will be working on their projects and reading the novel, Titanic Young Survivors. First quarter ends Wednesday! If you want your student to reassess over any of the skills we have worked on this quarter, please have them talk to me so we can make the necessary arrangements. First quarter ends next week; I can't believe we have already been back for a whole quarter! Besides working on projects and reading our novel, we will be wrapping up our unit on plot (Elements of plot including: parts of a story, conflict, suspense, patterns of organization). Students will take the plot unit test at the end of this week.
